Loretta possesses tremendous drive and dedication to make every team the very best they can be.
There are no one-size-fits-all formulas, no compromising that where you are is good enough, that you or your dog can’t achieve at a higher level than what you can imagine.
This is what sets Loretta apart from any other trainer you may work with.
She cares more—and will never give up on you or your dog. Basset Hound, Doberman, Dachshund, wild-eyed Border collie or Belgian Malinois—bring it on!
You want to work? You want to overcome limitations? You want to laugh and cry and go places you never thought you could?
Loretta will cheer you on, challenge you, hold your hand, confront your demons—in short, do whatever it takes. Are you ready to have fun?!?

Intro to Barn Hunt Seminar - Monday October 2nd, 2017 10:30 a.m. [top]
Barn Hunt has been going strong for 3+ yrs now. It is a fun, awesome dog sport designed to demonstrate a dog’s vermin hunting ability. Dogs negotiate obstacle courses of straw to locate rats safely hidden in aerated heavy duty pvc tubes. This fun game tests the dog’s speed, agility, scenting and discrimination abilities. Dobermans play this game well J
The Intro Seminar is for dogs new to the sport of Barn Hunt or dogs whose human thinks they need a refresher meeting with the rat. This seminar will introduce the handler to the sport of Barn Hunt while the dogs will be introduced to the rat in a cage and transition to finding the rat in the tube. Additionally, the dog will begin to learn discrimination between the “real rat” in a tube vs the empty tube and litter tube. This lays the foundation for all future hunting.
This workshop will be taught by Victoria Hall, Barn Hunt judge and the founder of Barn Hunt Casa Grande. Victoria has been training dogs for over 30 years, has had her own Master level dogs in Barn Hunt and trained & coached 100’s more in the sport. Victoria also competes in the sport of IPO having earned multiple titles and championships including 12th place in the World Doberman IPO competition in Italy in 2013 with her girl Vesna. Victoria applies all her years of dog training and how dogs hunt and track to helping dogs learn this fun sport. The seminar will be limited to 20 working spots and unlimited auditor spots.
Dogs do not need to have a barn hunt # to participate in the seminar.
Advanced Barn Hunt Seminar - Monday October 2nd, 2017 2:00pm [top]
This is a handler workshop. It will help the competitor to understand advanced techniques of hunting with their dog. Now that you have gotten a great start with your dog you may be wondering why you are stuck in the same class over and over. Why isn’t your dog finding that last rat or why are you always running out of time before you can clear the course? Are you destined to be in Senior forever?!
This workshop will be taught by Victoria Hall, Barn Hunt judge and the founder of Barn Hunt Casa Grande. Victoria has been training dogs for over 30 years, has had her own Master level dogs in Barn Hunt and trained & coached 100’s more in the sport. Handlers at her club are consistently successful. She also trains & competes in the sport of IPO having earned multiple titles and championships including 12th place in the World Doberman IPO competition in Italy in 2013 with her girl Vesna. Victoria applies all her years of dog training and observing how dogs hunt and track to helping dogs and handlers be more successful in Barn Hunt. Whether you are in Master or just coming out of Novice the insights Victoria will share with you will be beneficial to you as a handler and competitor.
Dogs and handlers will have the opportunity for a practice run at the end of the seminar to try out the handlers new skills.
